[Feature request] Serial Communication

In an modified earlier release of esp8266_deauther I played with phonegap/cordova/cordovaduino to forward every HTTP message through the serial connection (deauther plugged to the android OTG) and also send orders to the ESP without using the web interface.

It wasn't working well, communications were slow and buggy, going further required some Java skills I don't have so I gave up.

But there is still a need to be able to communicate with the deauther while the WiFi connection is busy deauthing. While any client (App or browser) will be disconnected as soon as the deauthing starts, the deauther is still spamming logs through the serial and accepting orders.

Is it worth speculating on the stability of https://github.com/mik3y/usb-serial-for-android (I think Cordovaduino uses an old version of it) and asking for such a feature addition?

Great initiative anyway, very much appreciated!

Does not work with Lineage OS 16

Trying to launch it from Lineage OS 16 and says: "Permission denied" once installed.

DeAuther not showing anything

The DeAuther show a wifisignal with a meter i think and says "Are you sure? Huh? Can't see an esp"

could you explain in the README why you need the location

No scan results on LineageOS 17.1

Just no scan results:

Wifi in on obviously and there is network.

[BUG]Can't load dashboard....

App shows "Cant Load Dashboard" error after 5-10 seconds after loading.... Tried restarting app, ESP, and all android permissions are given. In normal browser it works fine. Idk if its WebView issue or Deauther???
I am on MIUI 8 on Android 6 and I have redmi 3sp. Just in case.

[Feature Request] Add Desktop Mode

In desktop mode you can also see the mac address of the wifi user and it is very useful when you want to identify the specific device that you want to target through their mac address.

BUG

Hi, using your app I found a bug, I connect my ESP8266 to my phone charger, I insert the password deauther and I connect to pwned .
I open your app and it say to me

(I'm Italian).
But I connected correctly to my charger and if I try to go at http://192.168.4.1 on my Firefox (mobile) I log in and I can "test the security of my router".
