Add example to Readme

Do you have an example of this, I had problems understanding what this does.

Sorry if this is not a real issue, feel free to close this.

Creates an item in history, so using the back button doesn't work correctly

Probably need to remove the last item in history before updating the tab to fix the issue, if possible. Looking at the chrome.history API, it might be.

Replace tab characters with visually different character

If you have a coding standard where tabs are required over spacing, it would be nice if each tab could be replaced with X-1 spaces, and one character as an arrow (eg. as how tabs are displayed in visual studio)

this makes it easy during review to spot a missing tab (or vice verca, if tabs are forbidden, to detect a slipped in tab character).
