Bug: submitting form clears fields unnecessarily despite using preventDefault about react

When submit_save button is pressed the SimpleSearch component re-render because you set its state searchResults to an empty array.
This, however, causes definition of component FilterCriteria() to re-render so a new input element is rendered which value is empty.

In order to preserve the value in the input, I suggest defining the FilterCriteria component outside the SimpleSearch.
