FAMNM will also act as a collegiate network for both FIRST® Alumni and University of Michigan students who volunteer with and support FIRST® teams. The organization aims to provide professional development opportunities including but not limited to resume critiquing, mock interviews, and corporate recruiting events.

Split the custom CSS up into multiple files so that we're minimizing the amount of style rules that apply to each page, also organize and clean existing CSS rules so it's not quite so messy.

Project Development
The Project Development committee is responsible for organizing events on campus for FIRST® teams, including our annual Kickoff events, FAMNM Forums, and Rookie Quick Build. Additionally, this committee spearheads new programming for FAMNM as a whole.

Treasury
The Treasury Committee is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining a budget, organizing fundraising events, and finding sponsorship within the University. The committee is also responsible for organizing donations to FIRST® teams, as well as maintaining the FIRST® Scholarship at U of M.

Marketing and Campus Outreach
The Marketing and Campus Outreach Committee is responsible for maintaining and updating social media accounts, recruiting new members, and advertising the organization and its events. This committee is also in charge of planning social events for FAMNM.

The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) season begins each year in early January with a worldwide kickoff. At this time, the year’s challenge is revealed and teams begin their 6-week design and build season. Kickoffs provide an opportunity for teams to interact with each other, pick up their Kit of Parts, and learn about the game. FAMNM has been hosting a kickoff event on University of Michigan campus since 2015 and it has grown to over 40 teams from the greater Ann Arbor area. In addition to showing the game reveal broadcast, we offer tours of the university’s engineering campus, presentations by inspiring professionals and university faculty, and a mock field setup to help students understand the new game.
