Process Spawn Control is a Powershell tool which aims to help in the behavioral (process) analysis of malware. PsC suspends newly launched processes, and gives the analyst the option to either keep the process suspended, or to resume it.

Hello -

Thanks for the cool tool. Could you specify an open source license for the code? I'll submit a pull request for the MIT license to make things as simple as possible for you, but feel free to select your own. More info on choosing a license (and why it is important) here: https://choosealicense.com/no-permission/

Thanks again!

Freezes CTRL+ALT+DEL

I tried this on a virtual machine, so that could be part of the problem, but when I started running it, I tried to use Windows Explorer to browse to a sample to execute.

Lots of underlying Windows processes came up (such as svchosts) and the popup GUI window displayed fine. But when I tried to execute a sample, which required user elevation (via the Windows gui) I believe ProcessSpawnControl was suspending the process, so I could not allow it to go through.

I then sent a CTRL+ALT+END (via RemoteDesktop) and got it to display on the screen, but it looks like PSC was suspending that too! Can't really do much with it because of that.
