Hi, your google reader code suddenly stopped working the other day. After reading the comments here (http://blog.martindoms.com/2009/08/15/using-the-google-reader-api-part-1/) it seems that google no longer accept the SID parameter in the cookie.

I was wondering whether you have had a chance to write a fix for this and update your code?

It looks to me as though the login mechanism for this code should be improved. Currently, it sends the username and password in the URL itself. Although the URL is over https, the credentials passed in are not encrypted as they are part of the URL which anyone could sniff off the network.

Instead, they should be passed in as POST variables to ensure that they're encoded. I can submit a patch if necessary.
