I just tried installing this theme on macOS (I'm on the latest beta of Mojave, this could be the reason), and my tabs are white instead of dark.

What the Chrome Webstore shows tabs looking like:

What I see:

Would it be possible to add colour to the google logo on the main startscreen, kinda Like this? This would make the theme look awesome.

I've noticed that chromes daily promo message on the bottom of a new empty tab is invisible because white text on a white background is displayed.

Hello! Big thanks for the theme! I am only missing that the search bar is not black as it is on the incognito mode.

I think the 'Gmail' and 'Images' text should to be white instead of black. Is this an issue with Google itself or the theme?

When you open a chrome app in a separate window the title bar of the window is still white, can you change this?
Open chrome://apps/, right click an app, enable "Open as window" and then open it to see what I mean.

is there any way to change the background? i want to custom it

Nevermind, I just realized that there's a 5 dollar fee to post something on the chrome web store.

Newest version of ChromeOS, the tab should be dark.

Also, the buttons are the incorrect shade of white.

Is it possible to make the URL Bar dark just like in the incognito mode?

I just implemented prefers-color-scheme: dark to my Website.

Currently this feature is only available on Safari Technical Preview. I would love to see this implemented in this theme. Tho, I don't know if this is possible or not.

Maybe there are other ways to make omnibox dark except making a Windowblinds theme? It takes its color settings from windows, so changing high contrast colors changes it to dark (but makes other apps look awful). Maybe there is a way to apply high contrast settings to only chrome process? Even is an additional app is required I think this could be very useful.

Also we can create a request to make omnibox themeable and link it in theme description.

After the update to version 81.0.4044.43 the address bar background is white.
I think it's related to this commit.

When opening menus from both extensions and Chrome, the background and text color is both white, unless being hovered over.

The readme says the white line above the url bar should be fixed but I can still see it.

Bug that I noticed: (with the exception of the bookmark bar) folder icons aren't visible.

To reproduce:

1. Create a folder
2. Create a folder inside that folder

The second folder's icon is invisible.

(also, unrelated but I noticed the new update makes incognito mode's URL bar white whereas in the old version the incognito mode would remain dark regardless of theme)

Hey, so New Tabs aren't dark anymore. Used to be where if I opened chrome, or had chrome open already and clicked New Tab, I'd get a blank page, dark, with some pinned sites. But now it's white, same icons, but no captions (or not readable because the text is white too, I'm not sure. I tried selecting the text but I couldn't, so the captions are probably just gone).

Other than that, the divider line between menu/bookmarks and page is now waaaay too bright. Super in-your-face. Here's a screenshot of what I mean. Please do look at the image in full resolution, because for some reason, if you don't, the divider line looks more like a gray, when in actuality it's white. https://i.imgur.com/qLv07EN.png

edit: interestingly, if I drag away one tab to separate it from the rest, the annoying white divider line disappears. ONLY from that separated tab, however. So it does seem to be a bug. I also tried seeing if bookmarks bar disabled/enabled during startup made a difference, but it doesn't. It does seem to be a thing related to the broken white blank page.

No addons enabled btw.
