The Fiji Updater moved to ImageJ. This project is a mere shell to provide access to the ImageJ2 updater as an ImageJ 1.x plugin, and it will soon go away.

Let Fiji_Updater.jar depend on imagej-ui-swing.jar directly

The idea is to link directly, catch NoClassDefFoundErrors and fall back to executing http://update.imagej.net/bootstrap.js directly, fall back to telling the user to do that manually.

This used to be fiji/fiji#81.

Can't filter on a file terminator

I noticed I couldn't filter on the period character, and thus could not filter ".jar", and thus could not differentiate scifio.jar from scifio-blah.jar, which made #3 slightly annoying to work around.

Skew in view for selecting items to update

I was uploading files to the Fiji and ImageJ update sites and ran into some problems.

I had 3 files locally modified in an otherwise freshly downloaded Fiji: scifio.jar, scifio-bf-compat.jar, imagej-legacy.jar

In advanced mode, I selected scifio.jar and imagej-legacy.jar to upload to the ImageJ update site. Their status did not change to "upload"... and when I tried uploading, it was apparent that different files had been selected (e.g. "luts/glow").

Filtering the view down to just the jars I wanted to upload allowed me to upload them as desired..

Upload new Fiji Updater preparing for the switch to ImageJ2 beta 8

Much like fiji/fiji-compat#1, this is meant to prepare for the upload of an imagej-updater.jar to ImageJ's update site.

While at it, we could also release version 2.0.0, which should also help identify versions of the updater despite the fact that we cannot -- for backwards-compatibility reasons -- upload a Fiji-Updater-<version>.jar, ever.
