I was thinking of providing a small fork for windows users, but that's unnecessary because the script already supports them fine. They might need some additional instruction though like I sure did. I would add the line in quotes to the bottom of the readme for windows users.

If you're a Windows user be sure to run the scripts in Powershell or a shell that supports it like Windows Terminal. The old Windows command shell has problems with some versions of Python using the wrong codecs which may throw errors for the scripts.
