Random app crashes

During development I occur random crashes that occurs without any meaningful debugging info (that I've been able to find) any help in investigating this would be appreciated.

Steps to reproduce:

• launch app
• change some features or add new features

This has been the biggest blocker for full release and has been puzzling me for a few days.

Feature Request: Clippy's Buddies

What are the possibilities of adding in Clippy's other friends, like F1, Rover, Merlin, and the like?

I think with AI and using the clippy likeness was a phenomenal idea!

I would like to see F1 make his way back to my computer again after all these years :)

Enough OpenAi tokens left?

I already managed to put the OpenAI key, however, it won't let me use Clippy because of something about my free tiral, I don't understand it.

Add rounded corners and mica background instead of the grey "translucent" one

Unable to send message by pressing ENTER key

I have to click the send button to ask questions.
Have tried 2 different computers.
Have tried with both internal keyboard and external keyboard
Pressing the ENTER key just creates a new line.
Would be great if you could send the message somehow either by just pressing ENTER or maybe som kind of combination.
Maybe SHIFT+ENTER or CTRL+ENTER

Invalid API Key

Windows 10.
Clippy reports that the OpenAI API is invalid.
The API is valid and is linked to a paid plan.
There is no firewall that blocks Clippy.

Settings window title

Feature: Support for dragging window

Add support for dragging the Clippy window. In addition to this the position should be remembered for future launches. This is ideal for multi monitor support.

Issues: the current implementation of moving and Resizing the window is very bad and hardcoded. A better solution to the windowing implementation would also be good in the long run (optional)

settings button crashes the app

trying to go to the settings just crashes it

Keyboard shortcut doesn't work

If the settings page is open, then the keyboard shortcut brings Clippy into foreground and in focus.

However, if the settings is closed, then pressing the keyboard shortcut doesn't do anything.

Infinite Mica does not work

Only regular Mica is working

Suggestion: add support for other APIs

like Google Bard, Bing, etc.

Always hide Clippy until activated using keybord shortcut

I love the consept of the project but don't like how clippy is visible on my background at all times. I would much rather have it so that clippy is quietly waiting in the background then when the keyboard shortcut is inputted the input field will take focus so you can immediately begin writing.

Also side note, I would also like the enter key not to create a new line but to send the message. Then if you want to make new lines you can just hold shift then enter.

Clippy crashes when opening the settings window

Clippy crashes whenever I try to open the settings window. Everything's fine when I launch Clippy, but when I try to open the settings window (to enter the OpenAI API key), a black window opens and the Clippy application crashes.

I installed the app from the Windows Store. I am on Windows 11 22H2 (on an unofficially supported CPU) :

Suggestion: make Microsoft Co-Pilot the base AI instead of ChatGPT. Or maybe make a free version.

Suggestion:

Add the hability for us to send a prompt automatically when clippy is started up so we can automatically enable DAN or something

Feature: No Open AI key support

Currently an official OpenAI key is required. For many people this is not viable to have such as younger users, users in sanctioned countries (Iran) or people who want to not spend the cheap price.

To implement this there are various solutions available online including for c# that involve a proxy. There is a privacy concern involving this however. Feedback on the best way to approach this would be app appreciated.

Feature: Support for custom characters

Currently a modern design of Clippy by Zeealeid has been included however custom image uploading support for custom characters will allow anyone to upload say Bob or classic Clippy as their AI

Support for dynamic resizing of height of window

Currently the window goes to a fixed height. In a translucent background this looks odd. Additionally as of the first GitHub release click through support doesn't work on certain devices.

Goal: add support for dynamic resizing of window based on how many chat messages there are such that the windows doesn't cover too much space

Support for oobabooga's text-generation-webui API instead of OpenAi API key

Feature Request:
Add a combo box for model selection into the settings.

Why combo box? So that the user can not only select predefined models like 'gpt-3.5-turbo' or 'gpt-4' but also specify it via text inout to use a specific version like 'gpt-4-0613'.

Right click Clippy for options setting

.NET - Update to the latest version

the clippy is using the .NET 6.0 version while i'm using the 8.0
although it seems to have long-term support, it'd be better if we'd upgrade das Clippy to das latest .NET
