This was originally opened after a request from me, right as I was getting back to playing Magic after a while. I've now come to realize that this format is pretty much... dead, and I'd probably be the only person around interested in it. I still think it's a great way to use the entire card pool without having overpowered decks; it allows a ton of cards to see play that otherwise would never get used, and gives a meaning to all the effort that goes into card coding. However, if one sees Firemind as a deck-testing tool, it doesn't make much sense to make an effort to implement a dead format that nobody will want to test for. Also, at this point, I'd be seriously worried about its balance - using the ban lists from the block constructed formats would probably not be good enough anymore, it should require a custom list, and then it becomes a custom format, adding to the problem.
So maybe if you want to close this, it would be fine by me.

Thanks for the update, I completely forgot about this.
The issue is actually part of a greater feature that would allow me to add any custom format I want. I still intend to add that because even though those won't be "supported" formats (as in they won't get automatic duels and will be run with lower priority) they still are of interest to some people.
I also like to use firemind.ch as a tool to find decks to play in magarena. Assuming I'm not alone in this it would still be useful to just be able to save decks for special formats and have them validated.
So thanks for bringing this back on the radar. I still want to implement this just not with a high priority.
