If explorer.exe gets restarted, the wallpaper does not get restored and you either get a blank (black) background or the original static background.

WallpaperEx should detect an explorer restart and reattach the wallpapers.

After some time this wallpaper will run out of memory:

Further investigation needed.

Currently there is no support for mouse movement or mouse clicks on the desktop.
To support wallpapers with interactivities such as mouse tracking this needs to be added.

My first idea for this is to use a global mouse hook because we dont receive mouse events inside the form directly as it is a child of the drawer worker.

For performance reasons WallpaperEx should pause rendering (WebView) if a fullscreen application is detected on a certain screen.

• Detect full screen applications
• Pause WebView rendering

Currently you have to manually setup Autostart for WallpaperEx as described in the README.md
In future this should be supported natively, ideally using a checkbox in the settings UI.

Currently WallpaperEx only supports changing the wallpapers of all screens at the same time.
In future it should be possible to set different wallpapers for each screen separately.

• Create a UI to select a wallpaper for each screen separately
