Backup / Data download

Hey flov, Is there a way (planned?) to be able to download one's own data on hitchlog? Just wondering, I would like to keep regular backups for the case the website one day in the far future might disappear. Would be a pity to loose my logs then. Cheers!

Add a possibility to link Facebook account when registering with email

I registered my account with email and now I can't link it to Facebook (I wanted to because changing the Gravatar is quite difficult for me, long story). When I go to Settings and then click 'Login with Facebook', it displays the message 'You are already signed in'.

It would be cool to have the ability to link your Facebook account after registering with email.

Sort rides on user profile page by start date, not by creation date

My case: when I was adding my rides after registration, I did it not in the right order (e.g. I've added a trip that happened 2 years ago, then 1 year ago, then 3 years ago etc.), and now the rides block on my profile page looks like this:

It would make more sense to sort them by ride's start date rather then by creation date (like it is now, I suppose).

BW at profiles

Heyap Florian! Could it be possible to get also BeWelcome username field at profile? Lots of tramps out there who are not using CS, only BW. Cheers!

long distance routes through different nations not showing correct countries

two examples:

Route through Germany and Austria, hitched A9 / A3 Berlin to Nuremberg - Regensburg - Passau to Vienna. But system shows I hitched through Czech Republic (probably shortest route by GMaps?).

Taking a route Bulgaria - Serbia - Croatia - Slovenia - Austria - Germany (Sofia/Beograd/Zagreb/Ljubljana/Salzburg) , the system assumes that I went through Romania / Hungary / Slovakia, which obviously is not right. Guess same problem as with first example.

Failing to login with Facebook changes the site's language

I have a Facebook account registered to another email address, and while trying to log in, sometimes it causes the site to change its language.

Steps to reproduce:

1. go to http://www.hitchlog.com/en/hitchhikers/login
2. click "Sign in with Facebook"
3. get a message Could not authenticate you from Facebook because "Invalid credentials".

If you would do it a few times, sometimes a site language is changed.

Statistics: country not counted

Hey,

Just a minor bug. Sometimes, the country is not counted in statistics. For example, this trip I made in Ukraine doesn't have the flag, and then, it's not added to the stats on profile :)

Sometimes, I found out that it could change depending what you are choosing in the list as cities, as they could be different names, but couldn't find the good one for that one. Maybe we could just have something to force to add the country? :)

edit trips / options

If technically possible, it would be nice to edit trips afterwards, e.g. the following fields:

• date/departure/arrival time (in case I forgot to change the current date to the one entry from my log 5 years ago) ; now I have to delete the entry and fill it all in again
• amount of people hitchhiked with per ride (optional), sometimes or pretty often one hitchhikes alone, just to meet another hitchhiker on the road, going together for some part before splitting up again during a trip. How to register this :) ?

Cannot log a new trip anymore

Hi!

It looks like something doesn't work with the map anymore, so I can't add cities for logging a new trip.

System recognizes Abkhazia as "USA"

Should be Russia to Abkhazia, not USA.

Failed log in

Hi,

Everytime I want to log in, it doesn't work until I set up a new password (the same all the time actually).

I have this message when I try : Invalid email or password.

So, I just renew my password, then it's working only for one time.

Can you help me out? :)
