flyimg / base-image Goto Github PK

Current base docker image is about 1.4Gb which is a lot, we need to work to decrease the size.
replace php:7.1-fpm by php:7.1-fpm-stretch is a good start, since the size will be cut to 1GB but still we need to check more.
Move to Alpine based image is another option as well.

Update the Makefile
change the VERSION variable how it set, it should pick up the latest git tag.

Xdebug is needed in the main flyimg repo to generate the coverage-clover

S6 overlay is more optimized for docker container images and can uses a declarative service model by creating /etc/services/{name}/ directories that have run and finish scripts.

Update the documentation about the base image

Update the base image to use the latest php7.3
