MBusParser

Somewhat fast mbus parser. Uses ~586 ticks per wmbus packet, thats including decryption and whatnot. Or on my shitty laptop, about one minute to parse one million unique wmbus packets.

Features

• Conforms to EN 13757-3 and EN 13757-4. 2013 (If you want support for more recent standards, feel free to buy me one.)
• Tested on more than one million wmbus real-world packets!

Whats working.

• Able to wmbus and mbus. Encrypted and unencryped.
• FB, FD VIFE's fully supported.

TODO:

• Parse date and date time.
• Write more tests.
• Support more orthogonal value information extensions
• Ensure correct unit is chosen.

mbusparser's Issues

Vif and vife multipliers are determined in wrong order

Should be most variable bits first, to avoid false positives.

From GAV MSB of DATA seems to be first, not last as described in the standard.

VIF coding for special units

Annex H

MBusHeader should return valid index of payload start byte.

Right now it is handled with magic numbers.

Multiplicative and additive correction factors not dealt with correctly.

Most likely FD's correction factors are not parsed correctly. I have a hard time finding information on how it should be dealt with,

Handle variable length data

Support more orthogonal vifes

Currently only one multiplicative factor is supported. Should support all of it.

Date, time and datetime values not parsed.
