This application is an example of performing phone number verification using the Authy Verification API.
To run it you will need:
- A Twilio account
- An Authy App which you can create in the Twilio console, you'll need the API key
- Ruby installed, I built this with Ruby 2.4.1, but any Ruby with support for Rails 5 should work
Clone this repo and install the dependencies:
git clone [email protected]:philnash/rails-phone-number-verification.git
cd rails-phone-number-verification
bundle install
Add your credentials to the config. Start by copying config/env.yml.example
to config/env.yml
. Then fill in your Authy app API key in config/env.yml
.
To run the application, start it as a normal Rails app:
rails server
Then visit http://localhost:3000/phone_verifications/new.
