This is a personal project I'm working on because I wanted to learn backend, and to start this journey, I chose Node and Express because of the shared language with the frontend, not having to learn a new one, letting me focus on less things at the same time.
This is a project that aims to be like a social media, where the user could:
- Create posts
- Share other posts
- Like and comment posts
- Follow users
- React
- Node
- Express
- PostgreSQL
-
Start a dev server:
npm run dev
-
Start a dev server with msw enabled to mock the server:
npm run dev-mock
-
Run tests with msw enabled to mock the server:
npm run test-mock
-
Start server:
npm run nodemon
-
Run tests:
npm run test
- Backup the file located in the root of the project: 'say_it.sql'.
- Remember to create a .env file and fill it following the '.example.env' file depending on your enviroment.
As I said earlier, this is a personal project with the objective of learning, so if you want to contribute to this project, the best thing you could do is open a new issue requesting whatever you want for me to do with the project.
