Features

In Visual Studio Code there is only a static vertical ruler option. There is no API for controlling it from extension so I came up with this replacement. It uses a text decorations to simulate a ruler. The only drawback is that ruler is only shown in lines as long as current cursor position.

Possible to change cursor color?

It would be good if the cursor which is not on main line have different color. I'm currently confused because I'm not sure on which line I'm currently because everything looks same for me.

Doesn't work correct when using hard tabs

If it's possible to add ruler line in blank lines

Love your cursoruler! I have been finding a vertical highlight plugin for VSCode for a long time. Fortunately I got your extension :). And may I make a tiny request for it?

When blank lines exists in the editor, cursoruler will "skip" these lines (as line 3, 8 and 11 showed). If it's possible for you to make the ruler-line continuous?

I will be grateful if you can do this, thanks for providing us such a good plugin.
