Android Kotlin starter project

Purpose

To show possibilities and good practices using Kotlin language.

Description

Application connects to SpaceX API to download 3 types of data:

• SpaceX rocket fleet
• Upcoming flights
• Past events

Data is presented with generic adapter approach and is saved in the database.

Clicking on each item navigates user to a browser to read more information on the Web.

Use swipe-down gesture to refresh downloaded data.

Click on top-right button to change between Light Mode and Dark Mode.

android-kotlin-starter's Issues

Showing loader or Dialog in case of 401 , 500 error codes

How can we show the loader while network request is processing or show any dialog if there is any network error , unauthorized request or any crash internal server error or network request not processed.? Can we pass the dialogHelper class in repository or it will be a bad practice?

Hi there,
I see that you startKoin from mainActivity. I expect it would be better to start it from Application and not Activity. Now you have to recreate all dependencies every time you destroy your activity.
