Webpage using the Devise gem for user authentication and authorization, October 23, 2020

Description

This webpage is for a site where projects, posts, and comments can all be added and viewed. Each post can have many comments (a one-to-many relationship). The page uses the gem 'devise' to authenticate user singn-up and sign-in, as well as authenticate admins to create, update, and destroy projects, posts, and comments on the site.

Setup/Installation Requirements

  • clone this repository
  • navigate to the root dir of this project
  • in terminal do command gem install bundler
  • in the terminal do commmand install bundle
  • Run rake db:setup in terminal
  • Open the cloned repo in text editor
  • to run the rspec tests, navigate to the root directory and run rspec
  • in terminal do command rails s to start the rails server.
  • Navigate to localhost:3000 in the broswer of your choice to view the project

Known Bugs

Spec folder would not load, no rspec tests currently.
