Generating from sources:

Inkscape and Pyhton 3 are assumed to be installed, and present in the $PATH. Generating the combined icons in ./generate:

# Install svgutils
pip install svgutils

# Install svgo
# Via npm
npm -g install svgo
# -- OR--
# Via yarn
yarn global add svgo

# generate the overlay variants in ./generate
python combine

# generate the preview page
python preview/genindex.py

silk-icon-scalable's Issues

Add offsets to overlays

Some Icons (such as error.svg) should have an offset applied, before they are stacked.
I couldn't find an automated way of doing this thus far.

(and btw, the way the base svgs and the overlays are stacked right now, is very primitive (just nesting <svg> tags))

The preview page generation should be automated

Create a Github Pages pipeline or something like that to automatically generate the preview page.
(maybe even through CI, and then compare PRs through that)

Create Releases tarball

Generate a releases tarball from the stacked version, with dependable filenames.
