one nice thing about PCA is that loadings can be used to evaluate which features explain variation in the data. This sort of gets away from the focus of this section (on dimensionality reduction), but could still be useful to briefly mention

Currently the GIF in Fig. 5 of M2_MLSupervisedLearning.ipynb comes from an external source. The proposed enhancement would be to program the GIF on our own such that its appearance matches the other figures of the notebook.

I have been trying to create the conda environment by following the README instructions but I am not able to create it either on Linux or macOS.

Steps to reproduce:
Run conda env create -f environment.yml or mamba env create -f environment.yml

Expected behaviour
An environment is created.

Actual behaviour
An error is being raised:

Could not solve for environment specs
The following packages are incompatible
├─ ipywidgets 8.0.6  does not exist (perhaps a typo or a missing channel);
└─ openpyxl 3.1.2  does not exist (perhaps a typo or a missing channel).

Currently the dropdown menu only allows the selection of one or all categories to be displayed. The improved version would be that more than one categories can be displayed.
