I like DENO, and learning about all that crazy shit. The goal is to get the website a bit more interactive, and less static site portfolio type beat.

FRESH is a framework for DENO and I think if I were to re-write the site, it would be in that!

Lume is another choice (static site in Deno also)

This will be for use when sharing to social media, discord, etc.

For example: when sharing a github link, it will give you a nice cute image within the embed

Status right now, I'd have to look into seeing if it's possible to generate something via zola directly, otherwise... might need to use some NPM thing... like Sharp (which might also give the benefit of having a bit more of a crossplatform solution, if we swap sites...)

it seems that there's already an atom feed, but it isn't mentioned anywhere on the page

right now it's formatted weirdly since I am dumb

this can be fixed by adding the authors = [] metadata to the frontmatter of a blog post! Right now... it's manual... however I just put some on like 60% of the blogs

We have the discord blogBot working for posting, but the github issue is created by my account, and then it lists me as the author, which i need to change!!!

In the latest Funkin' blog, two images at the beginning (dated 2024/03/12) fail to load and display an error message: "This content is no longer available."

The reason behind this is likely due to Discord's CDN change to prevent malicious acts, such as hosting malware and what not, which that can be read about here, or it could be due to the images being deleted (though that's probably not the case).

Unfortunately, there isn't much I can do to fix this problem directly. However, there are some solutions, such as hosting the missing files on funkin.me's site instead, which that's a really great alternative instead of relaying solely on Discord.

Right now the shortcode is super small within the container, might need to make a new custom one for it!

right now the workflow has all the issues sorta aggregated into a single markdown file, but I think the blogs can be separated into folders with an index file, and then the markdown files can be added into there!
