subhub's Issues

Not able to download on some devices

Inability to download
It pulls with an error message everytime I tried to download a subtitle on my Infinix hot 9 Android version 9
Please fix

Can this somehow also be ported to Windows?

I watch my torrents on my PC and this would be a lovely tool to have for Windows. I know VLC has a plugin for this but its very glitchy and doesn't work properly 60% of the times. That is why this would be amazing to have on Windows too

Can't pick download folder

when i tap on manual search, can't choose download folder, steps by picture:

tap on "download location folder":

this menu opens with no folders in it:

when i choose "recent" (the only option):

without choosing downoad location, search doesn't start to work.

Android version: 5.1
Subhub version: 1.0.0
downloaded from: f-droid

Information about how the App works

Where are the subtitles fetched from? I see the retrofit library being used but I don't see baseurl

Can you point out in the code where the network request is made and subtitles are fetched from?

It would be really cool if you could share the details on the how the app works and its flow.

Manual search doesn't work.

I've tested the app with multiple movie titles and always get the same response.

I'm trying English with a specified subhub folder within my downloads folder.

I've also used opensubtitles to find the subtitles on my web browser. So it's not that the subtitles are unavailable.
