What is LightDM Webkit ?

The lightdm-webkit-greeter allows you to choose a background image directly on the login screen. It also offers an option to display a random image each time it starts if you use the lightdm-gab-gradient theme. By default, images are sourced from /usr/share/backgrounds . You can change the background images directory by editing lightdm-webkit-greeter.conf

Please, help me

I have installed your theme (very cool) and I have a problem. I can not choose DE (turns on xubuntu session)(i want openbox)

Not working and would love to use it

Hi I just installed the theme however its not really working. The themes does not load the user at all no profile picture or way to login into the user; it just shows the default 'Magic Wave' Text and trying out my password does nothing.

I kinda expect it not to work since I'm in Solus and kinda had to install the entirety of web-greeter manually, including dependencies, but if the default theme works there should be a way to make your awesome theme work too!! I'd love to use it.

No Account picture during login.

I currently use Arco linux which is based on arch, with window manager Awesome only no DE.
I can't see my profile picture on login screen
what i tried:

add a .face picture in my home folder and a copy of it saved in /home with name avatar.png

Changed logo and user_image of /etc/lightdm/lightdm-webkit2-greeter.conf

i didn't know what logo or user_image did so i changed both of them to my profile picture
which didn't help

I had no problems with lightdm-gtk-greeter, it showed my profile picture. I hope there's an easy fix for this because i just love your theme

dark theme

I like your project very much, it would be better if there is a dark theme.

username

its suppose to show my name but it shows gabreil white tenma instead.. how can i fix that ..

this problem arise on the leatest web-greeter installed from

on Ubuntu 21.04..
but working fine on ubuntu 20.04 with lightdm-webkit2-greeter 2.2.5..

Can't change profile picture

I've added my profile picture into the html code, in the <img id="login-picture"> field so it becomes <img id="login-picture" src="img.png">. My picture shows up for half a second and then fades away to white. Commenting out -webkit-transition:opacity .5s ease-in-out; in the style.css file doesn't help either.

Can't get the japanese characters to show

I've installed both fonts. Tried both installing from aur as well as installing manually.
