VTEXY

A developer tool for VTEX CMS

Why should I use this?

This tool allows the team to focus 100% on the code instead of the Platform. It can also be used as a homologation environment. Basically we simulate the engineering behind the CMS, making possible the development of local SEO and data versioning of Placeholders, Banners, Settings and more. In addition, it is possible to deploy everything from the command line.

Quick Start

First, install VTEXY globaly:

npm i -g vtexy

Then create new project running the following commands:

$ vtexy init
$ cd my-project/
$ vtexy start

Sync Service

This service will be responsible for synchronizing the local information in the VTEX CMS and also for bringing from remote to local.

The process will proceed as follows:
Same as Git, but the information is not saved on a server. It is necessary to make a configuration in the VTEX CMS with XML files that will be used as a reference for versioning the information in the CMS
