for generic function signatures, lspsignature LOVES to take up a lot of space. Limit the height of the floating window or get rid of lspsignature (would prefer to replace it)

navigating the completion menu and snippets using only tab is a mess. split up functionality into more keys for a more predictable experience. additionally, there are multiple sources for the same snippet, with some snippets better than others.

areas of improvement:
completion menu navigation
sourcing snippets (see if friendly-snippets can be the main source instead of relying on LSP)
snippet completion navigation (using Tab conflicts with completion menu selection)

currently, diagnostics are a wild mess, especially for more generic functions with massive signatures. either filter out noisy diagnostics or limit their height.

also, add bind to toggle diagnostics instead of having them always on on cursor hover.
