Would like to have some tests on the project, but I am currently unsure how to go about testing it. This topic needs additional research and discussion.

Project needs documentation for

• Using the CLI interface
• Using the programmatic interface
• Writing migrations and post deploy scripts in javascript

Attempting to run drift on MacOS fails with the following error:

> npm install -g @gatewayapps/drift
> drift help
env: node\r: No such file or directory

It turns out this is related to the file bundled in the NPM distribution having Windows line ending \r\n instead of Unix line endings \n.

There is a workaround using dos2unix but we need to fix it to ensure the distributed version has proper line endings.

I haven't seen this error in Linux so I'm thinking it is a MacOS only issue.

• Map migrations .sql files to .js files using the dbContext.runRawQuery. Keeping the names the same will allow the drift project to know which migration have already been applied.
• Will also need to transform the .sql files defining functions, procedures and views
