go-libpcsclite

A golang implementation of the libpcpsclite client. It connects to the pcscd daemon over sockets.

Purpose

The goal is for major open source projects to distribute a single binary that doesn't depend on libpcsclite. It provides an extra function CheckPCSCDaemon that will tell the user if pcscd is running.

Address disconnect issue

There is currently no implementation of Status and therefore once the connection to the reader has succeeded, the code assume it's permanent. A check for presence needs to be added before sending other commands.

macOS support

I'm trying to use this library on macOS, but just realised you deactivated support in #2.

Unfortunately I can't find any go library for CryptoTokenKit, so it might be easiest to get this library working. I think it should still be possible to use the PCSC API here. For example, you can see the testpcsc binary on macOS doing it here, which looks like it might be using a socket available at /var/run/pcscd.comm ?

WindowsOS support

it's look like there is no support for windows at time being, right ?

MacOS reader enumeration returns nothing

It looks like that, on macOS, the library returns an empty list of readers, even if there is a reader connected to the system.

It seems that there is an issue with Apple's own smartcard service.
