Run Locally

Clone the project

  git clone https://github.com/GDSC-IIIT-Dharwad/bookingcom-frontend.git

Go to the project directory

  cd bookingcom-frontend

Install dependencies

  npm install

Start the server

Update Hotel Listing Page

Creating a landing/loading page

Problem

The images load slowly in the home or hotel pages.

Description

The above stated problem can be easily resolved by adding a landing page / Loader component till the image / page loads. We can also add lazy loading to improve the website.

Fix horizontal scroll on homepage

Make the website responsive

Problem

The Website is not responsive and needs to be adjusted for the same

Description

The website does not appear well in the screen widths lesser than 1024px. This can be fixed using media-queries that can be added to all the style sheets(css files) to make the UI of the website better.
