I summoned an item display with /summon item_display ~ ~ ~ {item:{id:"minecraft:diamond_sword",Count:1b}}.
Then I ran /data modify storage mcanim:api/display_animations/generic animation set value {duration:23,transformation:{scale:[1,2,3],translation:[1,2,3]}}
Finally I ran /execute as @e[type=minecraft:item_display] run function mcanim:api/display_animations/generic

Absolutely nothing happened.
Version 1.19.4.

In one of the recent versions they changed the display entity tag 'interpolation_start' to 'start_interpolation', which breaks the duration tag in this datapack.

If the sum total of the x, y, and z values in the scoreboard are greater than 180, the scale starts to increase as well.
This works properly:
data modify storage mcanim:api/display_animation/rotate animation set value {duration: 100, x:90,y:0,z:90}
This does not work properly:
data modify storage mcanim:api/display_animation/rotate animation set value {duration: 100, x:90,y:0,z:120}
Nor does this:
data modify storage mcanim:api/display_animation/rotate animation set value {duration: 100, x:90,y:90,z:90}
