Regiment and Ethnic Diversity for Civilization V.

- Rescaling : all human and mounted units have been scaled down, no more giant infantry against tank ! Of course, the relative scale is nothing close to realism, but it looks way better IMO. The sea and air units are respectivly better proportionned.
- Formation : most units are now multiple figure, and the number of figures is raised in all human and mounted units. Existing formations have been reworked to reflect the change in scale, and new (14) formations have been added. 
- Diversity : hundreds of new unit models for diversity, no gameplay change. See newunits.xls or forum thread on civfanatics website for details

- Important : delete previous version of the mod, else the VFS may cause bugs. savegame compatibility is not assured, you should always finish your current game before updating.

From CFC:
- download the civ5mod file to your mod folder (..\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS).
- launch civ5, go to the mod menu, it should be extracted automatically
- find the "R.E.D. Modpack" line and activate the mod.
- click "next", then "single player" and set up a game

- Click the 'subscribe' button and go back in game, in the mod section, it will be downloaded automatically.
- Once downloaded, click the checkbox on the right of the mod line to enabled it.

[b]Troubleshooting[/b]

If the mod is not downloaded automatically even after unsubscribing/restarting the game, here's detailled instructions to reset the download and try again.

- first, check your game files integrity, instruction to do so are here :

- second try to 'reset' the download:
Unsubscribe to the mod
Close steam (not just the windows, the compete program, in doubt restart your computer)
Delete all the content of the civ5 cache folder (\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache)
Go into your civ5 mods folder (\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS) and delete any file or folder named 'R.E.D. Modpack'.
Launch steam then civ5 and subscribe again from ingame.

I was playing as Japan with RED Xtreme enabled, and encountered an Issue where only 2 Infantry units would show: I fixed it by manually setting the count to 40 in xtrem.sql.

UPDATE ArtDefine_UnitInfoMemberInfos SET NumMembers = 40 WHERE UnitInfoType LIKE 'ART_DEF_UNIT_INFANTRY%';

I'm not sure if the issue is apparent in the normal RED modpack.
