Features

• Run the full GitHub desktop application.
• Clean up the registry and other files after exiting.
• Easily uninstall, clean and reset.

Limitations

• Unable to save github login information, because the latest version of GitHub Desktop only allows the use of local credentials generated by the windows system after browser authentication. This credential cannot be used on other computers.
• The built-in updater does not work.

Need how-to or wizard to detect external (portable) editor

Hi,

I have PortableApps with Notepad++ Portable and VS Code installed as portable.

How GitHub Desktop could detect them ? Or how to edit its config with them ?

Default folder name on Local path from Github to GitHubPortable when clone or create repository.
