Hi there 👋

I'm a tech entrepreneur since I was a teenager when I started a web hosting company (Gigahost) back in 2002 in João Pessoa, Brazil.

Gigahost survived for almost a decade before it was acquired by a bigger ISP in Brazil. In the meantime, I participated in many other ventures, including a Brazilian streaming service called Twitcast.me, a medical appointment service called Smark, a Groupon-like service called Polvo Pirata, and many other initiatives, all under a development agency umbrella called 6PS Group, based in Brazil.

In 2012, I moved to New York and eventually started another experiment called HackHands, which shortly became a company and after a year it was acquired by Pluralsight. For that matter, I've moved to Utah in 2015, and kept working with Pluralsight until 2020.

Today, I'm back to my entrepreneurial journey and I’m currently working on moises.ai. I'm also partner at Fuze, a development shop based Brazil, focused on native mobile development.

Posibility to show multiple currency-pairs in the menu bar

That would be great. Want to track ETH and BTC.

App starting error

Request: Hide Dock Icon

As the title says I'd love to hide the dock icon. It's a menu bar app after all. ❤️

Ability to track holdings for each coin / Portfolio

Would be awesome to add some portfolio features to keep track of your investments! Great app, by far the best one for mac that I have tried..

CMD+D shortcut

When pressing CMD+D it open a window with the version but the version is already in the menu and more important it's a shortcut for the whole desktop so it intercept the shortcut from another application. For exemple on Visual Code CMD+D select the next occurence of the selected word and this now open the version of crypto bar.

This shortcut should be removed or if really necessary customisable

Ability to allow users to add coins they would like to track (Enhancement)

The interface and abilities of Crypto Bar are brilliant, excellent work! While I have been recently comparing prices of other currencies that I hold I continually think about adding them to Crypto Bar which is not an option.

I am curious what you think of adding the ability to view currencies added by the user according to different wallets. Great work again!

Add a way to add/remove coins

First of all, thank you for building it, it's really nice!

Currently the list is in fixed size and there's no way to keep coins.length !== 6, it would be nice to have a way to add and/or remove coins.

I can't start it using "npm start".

I'm newbie on Electron.

As your README.md mention, start commend is "npm install & npm start".
But I can't start it.

Hyper Key + D Opens Dev Tools

As the title says, Hyper (Command + Control + Option + Shift) + D opens the developer tools in the app. After doing so the only way to close the tools is to pop them out into their own window and close.

I have this shortcut set up for Dash which I use throughout the day. This is really starting to bug me. 😁

Would love to have confirmed notifications when changing settings

For some reason every-time I change settings, I'm always looking for a confirmation notification to pop from the side that it's been confirmed. Pretty low priority, but would be a nice touch!

UX improvement

Incorrect BTC price when converted to DKK?

Hi.

I just started using Crypto Bar and I am really liking it.
Unfortunately, it seems as if the BTC price is incorrect when converted to DKK currency.

As you can see, it is not the same price listed on Coinbase as in Crypto Bar. I don't think Crypto Bar is updating the price. The price seems to be stuck.

I hope you can fix it :)

Bitcoin price incorrect

I've seen this a couple of times now. Not sure if its the plugin or Coinbase.

Icons are not appear on Dark Menu Bar

It is impossible to see icons on Dark Menu Bar.

I have forked your project. I will try to do that change and pull request ASAP ;-)
