Hello,
first i want to thank all of Envy's team for reviving an awesome app (Shareaza) and making it even better. This client is very underrated for its search results and compatibility. Also, a G1 updated alternative to shareaza is what i always wanted. Please continue developing the best p2p client for Windows (IMHO).

Secondly, i want to report a crash. I know the program is in early development stage, but i guess, reporting this might help you.
Recreation steps:

• Start some downloads, preferably with both default-hidden and default-visible ED2K and Gnutella sources.
• Go to menu
• Go to advanced
• Set "Downloads.ShowAllSources" from false to true
• Watch envy crash without triggering BugTrap, when it does save then you will be unable to start it ever again (this can be solved by undoing the value by regedit.)

Also, i suggest adding OpenFT, OpenNap, SoulSeek, and FastTrack support. These networks may not be as popular but still deliver good search results and have a huge userbase along with different clients. If Envy supports these networks, both i and other users could uninstall all other P2P clients such as WinMX that currently slow Envy's spreading over p2p networks.

does it support ipv6? emule does not support ipv6.

I just can't understand how aMule, gnutella and soulseek are still maintained but shareaza isn't...
I mean why have three programs when we can have one and select which networks to use?
soulseek should have been added to shareaza too instead of doing another frontend with nicotine

Some of the source code displays in a wrong way on my computer.Could someone tell me what encoding the files use?

Much of my library is spread across my home network, how can I share the files on network drives? I have made the drives read/write access. they are all mapped to a drive letter. I am getting up to 60MB/s throughput which is faster than some of my internal drives. Is there a plugin perhaps that might facilitate it? I am assuming the problem is with indexing and creating hashes for a possible read only access drive can you do the indexing/hashing locally? I thought MLDonkey had a plugin for NAS through ED2K.?

P.S. Loved Shareaza back in the day. Still have original skinvista skin. Love Peer Project and Envy better. Shareaza won't work with many VPNs, PeerProj/Envy can.

It does not work in Windows 10 x64

I love Envy.
However, now it's impossible to use on newer 4k displays. Fonts and other items do not scale and I am unable to recognized what is there. It's unusable at this point.

Program freezes anytime I try and close a search.
Using windows 10. Tried also in compatibility mode windows 7 and 8 and getting the same freeze.

When clicking ed2k links this error comes up. If I try pasting the link in "add downloads" the download button remains greyed out.

Tried a fresh install and still no luck

With the default settings and DC++ connection I've only got 2 G2 hubs, 3 G1 peers, and 1 DC++ hubs after 30 minutes. Only 6 neighbors in total. Is this normal? How do I get more connections? Specially on eDonkey where it hasn't achieved a single connection. And clicking on Update eDonkey server list from the web. (.MET file) gives a Download connection to http://peerates.net/servers.php was lost error. Does anyone know a way of editing this .MET file manually?

Consider adding support for HTTPS GWebCaches.

As added bonus the fact that the traffic is normal HTTPS and it is encrypted would probably bypass all firewalls :)

Occassional Crash in destructor for CNeighbor after promotion to G2Neighbor or app exit, as seen in CString release likely heap corruption.
Present in Envy 1.0, but only observed at app exit in Shareaza builds.
