Basic Setup for a new Grav site

The simplest way to install SoraArticle theme for Grav is to download and install the SoraArticle Skeleton package:

  1. Download SoraArticle Skeleton
  2. Simply unzip the package into your web root folder.
  3. Point your browser at the folder, job done!

TIP: Check out the general Grav installation instructions for more details on this process.

Existing Grav site

It is possible to install just the theme, but page content will need to reference the SoraArticle theme's supported templates. It is strongly advised to at least install the SoraArticle Skeleton package to see the theme's capabilities in action.

To install just the theme:

$ bin/gpm install soraarticle

grav-skeleton-soraarticle-blog's Issues

Customize the appearance

Hi,

is there some kind of best practice on how to customise the theme? E.g. I would like to remove the master slider, change fonts and the sidebar content.

Editing the theme directly would probably break updates in the future so I thought it might be wiser to edit this in the user directory but I am not sure how.

Kind regards,
Sebastian

Responsive Navigation | Open menu: Additional closing list elements rendered

Reproduce:

On a mobile device or in a small resized browser window:

Expected behaviour:

  • Just the menu item texts are being displayed as links

Actual behaviour:

  • Additional closing list elements are also rendered as strings

Remote http sideloading on https-sites

The theme loads insecure content even if hosted under https.
As far as I can tell those things are

font: Merriweather from Googleapis
form: Arvo Regular from Googleapis
translate widged: from Google
mailverify: from google
css: background-picture from blogspot (style.css L. 2711)
css: gplus icon from gstatic (widget_css_2_bundle.css)
css: blogger.com icon (widget_css_2_bundle.css) (two times)
Probably more ...

I am pretty sure, all ressources provide https by themself.
If I will have time this weekend, I will check the code for those snippits myself if a 'fix' is not provided until then. The security-warning is by now the only flaw in this awesom theme :)

Anchor links and backlinks are not working correctly.

The theme is great. I love it. But there is this small bug in the anchor links not showing up correctly and it might be showing behind the navigator. Anyway to get around this as a quick fix....TQ in advanced.

JS Comments Issue

Hi

I downloaded this skeleton from the site yesterday and installed via FTP, I experienced an error with JScomments which was fixed by installing the latest version of JS comments. Just wanted to flag!

I don't have the error number for reference anymore annoyingly! Sorry.

Blueprint for site config missing?

Hello,
I'm currently testing out the skeleton. I was looking for the banner images. I found them in the configs. But the blueprint for the site configuration is missing. Is there any available?

How to install it?

Hi guys!

I really dont understand how to start Grav with this skeleton! It contain just the /user folder, how Grav can works only with this files?

You say :

A skeleton package is great way to get started with Grav. They are an all-in-one package containing the core Grav system plus sample pages, plugins, configuration etc. Simply download the ZIP file, extract it in your web-root, and your done!

I follow this step, but in my case i'm not done! Have you an idea?

Thank you guys!
