First SASS tutorial

Requirements

Need to have ruby installed

Need to have ruby-gem installed

Installation of scss gem

• Use following command to install sass gem

  sudo su -c "gem install sass"

Setup Project

• create project dir

• cd into that project dir

• create css folder and cd into css folder

• create a style.scss file (and style.css file which is option)

• run following command to create css file from scss file on fly

  sass --watch style.scss:style.css
