With build 311/312 Natural Selection 2 introduced a new user badge API. The new API however isn't fully implemented yet and does not support that one custom badge might be assigned to more than one column.

To-do:

• Restructure network messages to support a bit mask for the column selection
• Fully implement the custom badge routine
• Test and debug

After the update to BadgesPlus in response to NS2 build 312, Dragon's NSL Mod does not display NSL badges (ref, admin, etc.) on the scoreboard. Since this might not be an issue with BadgesPlus itself, I understand if it's outside the scope of this project. Nevertheless I will explain:
With NSL Mod and BadgesPlus enabled, the server produces the error pasted at this Gist, and NSL badges are not available in the customization menu. (The very first time I started testing this issue, there was no server error, and my NSL badge did appear in the customization menu. However, every subsequent test has produced the error.)
NSL Mod uses the GiveBadge function to assign badges, as seen here.

There may be situations were badges need to be enforced so users can't hide them. The badge API should support this.

At the moment all badges are for the user to opt into. Servers may want to default set some badges.
