qtwitgui's Issues

Linux i386 version?

There's a i386 version for linux?
Can I use 'QtWitGui_AMD64.tar.gz' in Ubuntu 10.10?

Regards,

Error getting Wit Version/Cannot extract RSBE01.ISO

Cannot extract data from RSBE01.ISO (which I made a legal backup of)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Download latest version of gtwitgui
2.Open the program
3.Error message "error getting wit version" or "could not
recognize wit version" will appear; cannot extract ISO data.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to be able to extract all SSBB data, replace the files
and load it up on Dolphin or on a USB Loader on the Wii, instead,
the program will NOT load. And yes, I have all necessary .dll files.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

When I use the program without the GUI, I use the command "wit extract
RSBE01.iso DESTDIR" and tells me the Wii partitions are invalid, but this
doesn't make sense, it can't be a bad dump as I can load the game just fine.
What's going on here? What can I do to dump all the data, add custom
music/textures, and recompile the ISO image?

Any advice?

sorting the columns doesn't sort by numarical order

Sorting the "size" column results in the strings being sorted in alphabetical
order, not numerical order. This is just a part of the stock QT tree widget.
I'm not entirely sure how to subclass all the needed stuff to make it possible
to sort all the columns correctly, so it will stay like it is for now.

x64 support for windows DLLs

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and I can't install the extra dlls that's needed
to install the WtWitGui.
Thus I assume that the dlls are for the 32-bit systems.
Any chance you could provide some dlls for the 64-bit systems aswell?

Can't copy large text from the output

Trying to copy text from this output window only seems to work with smaller
text sections. Trying to paste large text gives "QClipboard: Timed out while
sending data" through stderr.

I don't see a way to raise this timeout in the QClipboard class, so I don't
know how to fix it. Until I know how to fix it, I will blame it on Qt.

automatically configure wit & wwt

Attached is a patch that attempts to automatically configure wit & wwt paths in
runtime.
This should make the application work better "out of the box" in a Linux
environment.

I dont know if thats a good approach, perhaps values should only be set if the
values are not already set in the ini file.

possible improper handling of string encoding

In juon ( RJOP99 ) there is an entry at the end of the fst that shows up as (
1401 DATA/files/Rs[ ` config.ini ) gibberish. I've tried using
different UTF-8 commands in wit and this file always looks like gibberish.

Wiiscrubber also shows gibberish for the file, and cannot extract the file.

I assume that wit will also not be able to mess with this file.
