would it be possible to use this in Reaper with a Launchpad S?
I see that it is not included in the list of supported devices.

• Pressing one of the Volume, Pan, Send 1 and Send 2 pads activates the channel and selects the respective fader mode (no long press necessary -> I fixed some bugs in this area. They are checked in if you want to test.)

• The volume row show the track color (the FX and master track can also have another color than gray). Therefore I would simply write "track color" instead of "MIDI/audio tracks, system tracks".

Is it possible to have this script work in ableton? or is it already compatible? I’m new around here lol. Thank you for your help

Hello. I've encountered an issue when trying to assign the Midi Port and USB Port in Bitwig. I'm running KXStudio on Ubuntu Mate 20.04 LTS with the latest version of Bitwig. The S25 is recognized by the OS and Catia and I am able to use the Bitwig provided S25 driver with some success (note input and encoder response is appropriate. Pitch, mod and octave buttons work). However, my intent was to use the Driven by Moss extensions for this unit. When I try to assign Midi and USB ports to take advantage of the Driven by Moss extension, Bitwig audio engine crashes every time the controller tries to enable upon port selection. I've tried numerous different USB cables and ports with the same results.

Relative scaling doesn't seem to be working with, for example "selected track send 1". Upon changing track and modifying send, values jump. Any ideas for a solution?

I would like to build a mixer and an "arm track controller"(i want to have a screen that shows me the record arm state of all my tracks and toggle them all on for recording sessions where I want to record all my synths and their midi while jamming) for a project with more than 8 tracks, with some OSC toolkit, either touch OSC or Openstagecontrol.

But reading the docs the selection of tracks seems to be reduced to just 8 tracks, and I dont understand exactly what that means and if/how I can get access to all tracks of the project.

Is that something that I can change on the OSC client I want to create, or would it require to extend the DrivenByMoss sourcecode to get access all tracks of a project at once? Or is it even something that is fixed in the Bitwig API that tracks can always only be handled in chunks of 8 and never all at once with some ID from 1 to amount of tracks in the project?

This took me a while to pinpoint what was going on. Long story short, DrivenByMoss with an Akai Fire makes certain VST plugs crash Reaper entirely, amongst others anything from the Melda Productions free bundle.

Verified on a fresh install with progressively adding items until Reaper crashes on said plugins and works again when the DrivenByMoss4Reaper config files are removed.

Windows 10 Pro, Reaper 6.28, DrivenByMoss4Reaper 11.7.3.

Hi, i'm trying to follow the documentation for launchpads but it's confusing from the start...

"Click - Toggle the metronome...Shift+Click - Tap Tempo" - Shift+click is toggle the metronome on mk3, where is tap tempo then?
"Delete - Hold the button for additional functionality in combination with other buttons knobs, see the view explanations below." There's NO delete button on mk3, which one we use instead...

Also all the illustrations are for launchpad x only, would be nice to see mk3 as well, much easier to visualize and remember all the controls...

Hi, first of all, thank you for sharing this amazing work!

I am running Reaper on a Manjaro Linux machine, and I was wondering, how do I get sync the integrated arpeggiator in my LaunchKey mini mk3 to my DAW, so I can get the same tempo. I am not sure if that's a feature of this driver and it's not working for me, or if it is a missing feature, however, I open the issue.

I can see that previous versions listed the BS and the BSP, but the latest version only lists the BS. I tried installing it anyway, and I can add a device as a Beat Step, but it doesn't respond to transport controls (I'm not entirely sure if it's meant to). I would really like to be able to hit play on my laptop and have the BSP start playing. Is this possible currently?

I'm using Bitwig 3.1.2. BSP firmware is up to date.

I have an SSL Nucleus, which USB interface only works on Yosemite. Is it possible to add support for this ancient release? I guess i should be able to build my own .lib but not entirely sure how to do that

Title says it all. If you are using the Push 2 with Bitwig and turn off the Push while Bitwig is open, Bigwig immediately crashes.

Using DrivenByMoss 10.6.4 and Bitwig 3.2.7

I use groups quite a lot, e.g. for putting all my drum tracks into the same group. As far as I can tell, there's no way of going "up" a group level - the only way is to press "Track", which will take me to the effect tracks, then press it again at which point I'm at the top layer of the groups again. This is a bit annoying, and it seems to me that this could be achieved with the buttons available (e.g. shift+ track maybe?)

Do you plan to add support for AKAI APC-20? Ma be not a big deal.. Unfort, it doesnt work with APC-40 config... The process crashes when one changes master fader. All other buttons don't show any visible effect(

When selecting anoter track in the MCP and returning back click to anoter the fader does not change the volume in the selected track but in anoter track. This is very confusing.

I have had to change te configuration to: Select Channel on Fader Touch: On , Activate Volume mode on Fader Touch: On.

It is a Pitty that this does not work in a real system with 4 or 5 midi controllers and a bounch of tracks (more than 100).

I tried following your instructions for uploading your sysex template to the faderfox ec4 I have. The docs mention that it should be using firmware version 2 at least, but I can't find any versions above 1.01 on the FF website. Is this a mistake?

I don't know if this is a bug or a limitation of the information Bitwig offers scripts. I've searched past issues and could not find a reference to this. I'm running the latest DrivenByMoss at the moment of writing, 10.6.4.

When one hides a deactivated channel in Bitwig Studio 3.2.7, the channel still shows in Push 2.

To reproduce:

• in mix mode, deactivate any track
• right-click on the Bitwig window background and toggle "Show deactivated channels" off

... and the channel will be hidden in Bitwig but still visible on Push 2.

This is inconvenient, because - unless one puts all deactivated channels to the extreme right - it creates a visual difference in how the channels are shown on Push and how they are shown on screen. Thanks!

Is it possible to record a clip until you stop recording, rather than with a fixed length?

Hi, I'm visually impaired and I use screens reader, and all the actions on my x-touch compact reader are readers approximated by the drive and the reader. however, when I press, for example, the key corresponding to channel sends, the message corresponding to what I pressed, however or unidentified screen reader, appears on the screen. it only says notification but doesn't say which one! would be any possible reading so that these messages can appear or reader read?? since now

I'm trying to use Launchpad MK2 with this script,

However, when I try to change drum or sequencer pattern it stucks and pads flashes/blinks like %1 brightness and It doesn't show any sign of sequencer etc.

When I press the User 1 button "Drum" shows up in my screen but in launchpad area there is nothing.

I think it stucks and I couldn't find a way to reset it without quitting the app. I even tried to remove cable and start it again but no luck.

After few minutes it returns to normal.

I have the latest Bitwig 3.2.8 and the latest Pro MK3 firmware 1.2, running on Win 10 Pro.

The issue is that it's not possible to freely switch between Note/Drum Sequencer[Chord]/Note Sequencer modes. It only works once, and than it gets stuck on the selected mode, no matter which. The only way to change modes again is to turn off and on the controller in the Bitwig settings, than it allows to switch to a different mode, but only once again.

The way the Pro MK3 is implemented in Bitwig is amazing and could easily surpass the native Ableton Live implementation, if these modes worked, but having to go to the settings every time I need to switch to a different mode renders the script pretty much useless.

Anyone else having these issues?
