Hi,
I installed a brand new copy of racktables 0.22.0 on rocky linux 9 with php 8.1, using php-fpm and nginx.

The only thing that I cannot get to work is snmpgeneric, it just shows a blank page after I fill in all the details and click on "show interfaces".

my nginx error.log file has these entries:

Not allowed to add physical ports

Hi Maik,

When I run snmpgeneric.php version from https://github.com/RackTables/racktables-contribs I'm able to add the physical ports BUT when I try the version from https://github.com/github138/myRT-contribs/tree/develop-0.20.x with the changes we've discussed via email (to work with PHP 5.4) I can't add the ports even if they were discovered by this plugin.

You can also see how both version detect SW Version but don't get SW Type. I thought that this plugin would help to avoid adding every "Unknown objectID", am I right?

Internal error when polling Dell S4820

Hi there,

I tried to poll a Force10 S4820T stacked switch and I got this error

Internal error

Argument 'ip' of value '36.5.148.0.0.1.0.1.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.1' is invalid (Invalid IP address).

It is something related to the fact that are stacked switches? The error is not related to dns resolution because I get the same by entering the IP instead of dns name.

If it is of any help, I ran the Racktables SNMPSync and it's got the ports for 1 switch.

LinkManagement support for RackTables 0.21

Is there any plan to bring the LinkManagement plugin to the new architecture of 0.21? This is the perfect functionality I need and would love to have it in the new release.

Strange issue after upgrading to 0.21.3

Hello,

We recently upgraded our Racktables installation from 0.21.0 to 0.21.3. We have been using the SNMP Generic Sync plugin for a long time, and we had the version from https://github.com/RackTables/racktables-contribs/blob/master/snmpgeneric.php previously installed.

After upgrading our RT installation, we have found that some devices are no longer pulling an ifName, but others are. Examples of this are some 6509 that we have are no longer returning ifNames as well as some 4948 switches (depending upon IOS version). Meanwhile other switches that are still working fine are Nexus 3164s, 3560Gs, as well as others.

The only commonality I am seeing is some devices that are not working are running some versions of 15.x code, while others are running running either older 12.x code, different platform (NXOS, RouterOS, etc.). It doesn't appear to be all 15.x code versions, just some.

If someone can advise some troubleshooting steps, etc, on trying to narrow down where the problem lies I'd really appreciate it.
