Node app starter

A boilerplate repo to start your Node apps quickly ⚡.

Getting started

You have 2 options:

Via Github

suggested approach

⬇️ Use this template ⬇️

Locally

Open a terminal in the location where you want to create your app.

  1. Clone the repo and give it the name you want
git clone [email protected]:giulioambrogi/node-app-starter.git <your-app-name>
cd <your-app-name>
rm -rf .git
git init
  1. (optional) Edit the name of the project in package.json

  2. (optional) If you want to push the code to an existing Github Repo you've created

# View existing remotes
git remote -v


# Change the 'origin' remote's URL
git remote set-url origin https://github.com/your-username/your-repo.git


# Verify new remote URL
git remote -v
