Open a terminal in the location where you want to create your app.
- Clone the repo and give it the name you want
git clone [email protected]:giulioambrogi/node-app-starter.git <your-app-name>
cd <your-app-name>
rm -rf .git
git init

(optional) Edit the
name
of the project inpackage.json

(optional) If you want to push the code to an existing Github Repo you've created
# View existing remotes
git remote -v
# Change the 'origin' remote's URL
git remote set-url origin https://github.com/your-username/your-repo.git
# Verify new remote URL
git remote -v
