Convenient way to get files into Z80-MBC2 UCSD volumes

I have got my Z80-MBC2 running your UCSD port. I can create additional volumes by copying one of the existing volumes, using Filer Zero to empty the copy fine. But how do I transfer files into the system given that it does not have a floppy interface nor is there either a Kermit nor an Xmodem for the MBC2 included in the build set?

Thanks

Peter

UCSD Editor does not work

The editor does not accept CTRL/C as ETX hence there is no way to complete input of a line.

I suspect that the keyboard definitions / BIOS are incomplete. The lack of filetransfer facilities and the non-working editor render the system 'an interesting curiosity'

I have tried both TeraTerm and Putty as the terminal emulator both fail to be recognised by the editor.

Default 115200 baud rate too high

The lack of flow control in the BIOS coupled with the default baudrate of 115200 makes the serial comms problematic.

With TerraTerm I can only get the system to sort off function if I set the inter character delay to ~ 250 mS and the eol delay to ~ 350 mS.
Putty sends the characters more slowly but if I attempt to send a file or paste text into the terminal is soon overruns the input buffer.

How about a BIOS fix for Flow control ideally with options for hardware (RTS/CTS and DTR/DSR), XON/XOFF, and none.

It would also be helpful to make the baudrate configurable.
