UDev - Unofficial Android Client for Dev.to

UDev is an unofficial Android client for the popular developer community platform, Dev.to. This app is currently in beta and is built using React Native. It aims to provide Dev.to enthusiasts with a mobile-friendly way to access their favorite content and engage with the community.

Features

• Light and Dark Theme Support: UDev offers both light and dark theme options, allowing you to read articles comfortably in your preferred mode.

• Popular and Latest Article Feed: Stay up-to-date with the latest and most popular articles from the Dev.to community. Discover insightful content from developers around the world.

• Videos Feed: Access a dedicated feed for Dev.to's video content. Watch tutorials, talks, and other educational videos right from your mobile device.

• Bookmark Support: Save your favorite articles for later reference by bookmarking them within the app.

• Article Search: Quickly find articles on specific topics or by your favorite authors using the built-in search functionality.

We are actively working on enhancing UDev to provide you with an even better Dev.to experience. Here are some of the upcoming features:

• User Login: Seamlessly log in to your Dev.to account and access personalized content and features. Interact with the Dev.to community using your own profile.

• Comments: Engage in discussions and leave comments on articles. Join conversations, share your thoughts, and connect with other developers.

• More: We have many exciting features and improvements in the pipeline. Stay tuned for updates and surprises!

Installation

To install UDev on your Android device, you can download the APK from the releases section of this repository. Make sure to enable "Install from Unknown Sources" in your device's settings before installing.

We welcome contributions from the open-source community. If you'd like to help improve UDev or have any suggestions, please open an issue or submit a pull request on our GitHub repository.
