How do you feel about including a category for information architecture and testing tools? I was thinking Optimal Workshop's suite of tools might be a good fit here. Example for information architecture:

• OptimalSort — card sorting tool that allows you to understand how people categorize content in your UI
• Treejack — upload your proposed sitemap to see how a user would move through your site

Any thoughts?

For pixel art, i use rn Aseprite but highly recommend grafx2, which is a old software but really great, and some i used before, which is graphicsgale

also for the icons part, i use flaticon

i think adding what is recommended over the other options may also help, but that is up to you

It's possible to do similar tasks with tools in different categories. Many design tools are multidisciplinary (you can do prototypes, UX & UI, logos in Sketch). However, it doesn't make sense to put the same tools several times.

It will be very nice to write one-two sentences at end of categories about tools that can be used for the same task.

So if someone have a desire to share expert opinion on similar tools, I & @valianka will be super happy for such help 🙏

I think a section of development tools would suit this list.

As designers & developers often work closely together to work on UI, I guess this would make sense. Think tools like Storybook and Styleguidist.

I would love to have a way to filter the tools listed. The categories are great and I really appreciate the tags, but I would want to filter them. For example,

• I would want to know what Open Source tool there is for Accessibility Tools.
• What Mac compatible tools are there?
• Which tools are web based?

I would imagine some filters (select) at the top of the tools list that I could tweak and find my answer faster than browsing or using the browser's search functionality.

Thanks for curating the list. I have this little suggestion on listing. How about having a logo of that plugin on the site?

Current site will look more useful to users if we add logos.

I think we can easily fetch logos in case of sketch plugin and can figure out more ways for other plugins!

There are some great Chrome/Firefox extensions that aid the design & development process. Perhaps we can have a Browser Extensions category?

Some designer on Reddit suggested to add tools, which allow to record the screen.
Do you think we need such category? Are there enough tools?

I'm on Linux if it matters. The inline SVG links do not render in Firefox, they do render in Chromium. Changing links to raw.github.com and appending ?sanitize=true to the end:

Seems to fix the issue. On a side note, rawgit is shutting down October of 2019 so I would migrate that link as well.
