INTRODUCTION

The Length Indicator module adds a colored, configurable length indicator to form fields.

REQUIREMENTS

This module requires no modules outside of Drupal core.

INSTALLATION

Install the Length Indicator module as you would normally install a contributed Drupal module. Visit https://www.drupal.org/node/1897420 for further information.

CONFIGURATION

1. Navigate to Administration > Extend and enable the module.
2. Navigate to Administration > Structure > Content types > [Content type
   to edit] > and turn on the length indicator for a compatible field.
3. The following settings are available: Optimum minimum, Optimum maximum,
   and Tolerance. Save.

Please note: Currently string_textarea ("Text area (multiple rows)") and string_textfield ("Textfield") are the only supported field widgets.
