There are some changes that need to be done to Porpoise to make it embeddeble (ie; remove the Grab annotations).

This will help support "GO" in MSSQL.

Should show the md5 hash of the file if it has changed. This will help debug "changed" scripts.

If a file has changed and the -F flag is passed, Porpoise should run the old down script, delete the entry in the change log table, run the new "up" script and insert a new record in the change log table.

Execute a provided shell command upon completion if new SQL files have been applied. The shell command will be provided on the commandline and only ran if and "up" sql patches were applied.

This allows for users to email or update external tools and/or people when changes occur to the database (ie: DB Admins).
