plex-playlist-import's Issues

Errors occurred while processing request

Hi! I just discovered this program and I'm trying it for the first time
So I could install it properly, launched it and filled in all the data, but when I try to import the playlist it just doesn't work.

It gives me the following error
"Errors occurred while processing request. An error occurred while sending the request"

The path to playlist file is an absolute path starting with my drive letter. All the lines in the .m3u are also structured like this, for example

E:\Music\Animu\IDOLM@STER\Cinderella Master\[2020-2020] STARLIGHT MASTER GOLD RUSH\[2020.09.16] THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS STARLIGHT MASTER GOLD RUSH! 01 Go Just Go! [COCC-17831]\02.Go Just Go! (M@STER VERSION) 夢見りあむソロ・リミックス.mp3

Cant Install Due to Expired Certificate

I'm not overly familiar with how all this works, but i cant get this to install. I could be doing something wrong but to me it seems the latest release doesn't have a way to install, I'm guessing its because you have only included the source code?

So i tried the previous version with the file [PlexPlaylistImport_1.1.0.0.zip] and i get this error when running with PowerShell

Error: The developer certificate "C:\Users......\Desktop\PlexPlaylistImport_1.1.0.0\PlexPlaylistImport_1.1.0.0_x86_x64_Debug.cer" has expired. One possible cause is the system clock isn't set to the correct date and time. If the system settings are correct, contact the app owner to re-create a package or bundle with a valid certificate.

I get the same error running the other PowerShell file. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

Install fails due to expired certificate

Attempting to install gives the following message: "Error: The developer certificate "D:\Music\Playlists\PlexPlaylistImport_1.1.0.0\PlexPlaylistImport_1.1.0.0_x86_x64_Debug.cer" has expired. One possible cause is the system clock isn't set to the correct date and time. If the system settings are correct, contact the app owner to re-create a package or bundle with a valid certificate."

Install.ps1 not found?

Downloading the "plex-playlist-import-main.zip" but Intall.ps1 not found, any ideas? thanks.

How do I make this work

I came across this and would like to install but am not sure how to. Do you have the built program so that I can use it?

Add a progress indicator

Depending on network latency there can be a delay between when button is clicked and a message is displayed to the user to let them know the status of the process. Add some sort of progress indicator while playlist is being processed to let the user know that something is happening.

Unable to connect, even after using port forwarding, switching to private connection. Very confused

Hey there @gregchak I'm at a loss as far as what I'm doing wrong here. I'm including a screenshot of my settings, as well as the event log for the app. I've tried using both private and public addresses (pretty sure it's always supposed to be private?). And I've successfully forwarded the port via my router, and I've also tried after setting my server to private. Can't get anything to work. It's befuddling to me.

I have double checked and there's also an exception setup for Plex Playlist in my firewall as well.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Powershell doesn't execute install

So i tried running the "Install" file by run with powershell but it just opens and quickly closes. I have Windows 11. Is there something i'm doing wrong?

Install.ps1 fails with certificate expiration error

Hello,

I am unable to get the app to install due to the expired certificate. I have tried importing it into Third Party Root Certificates, but there seems to be no way to get PowerShell to ignore the expiration date on the cert, regardless of whether the system thinks it is "trusted."

It appears a new certificate will need to be generated on your end.

Thanks.

Could not acquire developer license?

Found bundle: C:\Users\grant\Downloads\PlexPlaylistImport_1.1.0.0\PlexPlaylistImport_1.1.0.0\PlexPlaylistImport_1.1.0.0_x86_x64_Debug.msixbundle

Before installing this app, you need to do the following:
        - Acquire a developer license
Administrator credentials are required to continue. Please accept the UAC prompt and provide your administrator password if asked.
Press Enter to continue...:
Error: Could not acquire a developer license. For more information, see http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=252740.

Getting this when trying to run the Install.ps1 script. Any ideas?

Save entries

Could you make it where once you enter the fields (URL,Token,Section, and Path) they can be saved, then the next time it is open they are already populated. Thanks
