hexmob.win's Issues

SEMI-RESOLVED: App no longer function[ed] on up-to-date Apple devices aka NSSURLSession bug

Hexmob no longer functions (stake / end stake contract requests) on any up-to-date Apple devices.

go.hex.com/stake is still working. My guess is that etherjs as used there works but web3js does not. Testing this and if true, switching over would be a mammoth task. If someone out there would like to help, please do!

First it was just iOS, with a known workaround for Safari and by extension Metamask's internal browser but no others. However, that workaround no longer works on iOS and now the problem exists in later macOS versions as well. No workarounds are known for either OS.

On iOS we can no longer connect to a wallet at all. On macOS, we can connect to view stakes etc but we cannot start or end stakes.

The issue is Apple installing a full rewrite of the protocol used to communicate over web sockets โ€” in our case, Wallet Connect. Their new version drops support for long messages, which Wallet Connect requires to function. (To the best of my limited knowledge.)

As usual, Apple shows no interest in replying to any bug reports and whether this will ever be fixed is unknown and presumed unlikely.

Maths may be wrong.

I always hate bothering ya, but clearly not enough to stop posting issues on github.

Im not sure exactly where the issue came into play, but i think the maths got messed up in one of the recent updates.

might have been in the "USD Value Total and USD Penalty now include include BPD correctly" commit? tho i checked the diff and it looks like nothing changing mathematically, but i am far from an expert.

Looks like there's a period instead of a comma in the image below specifically the interest field.

[FR] add interest accrued today (most recent full day)

I find my self constantly comparing screenshots on my phone to the app to get a rough idea of what I made at the close of the most recent (now) day.

Perhaps add a "interest received yesterday" and modify the "interest" to "total interest" ?

This would just be in the account overview section.

I'm not expecting anything from the work of others, but thanks for the awesome work!

Read only view

Akin to apphex.win, it'd be cool to be able to specify an eth address and show a read only version within the interface.

when manually switching dates via input from clicking on time map or changing end date range

It seems like to get the system to register a change in date after the initial usage of the drop down end date box, you have to set the end date period twice.

like if I set it to 1 year from the get go, see the results and decide to switch to 2 years. Most of the fields update, however the actualy mm/dd/year field does not.

not sure if that actually effects the input to the contract or if it's just visual.

URGENT: [BUG] Wallet Connect will not connect from Trust Wallet

Using the most current version of Trust Wallet for IOS, the connection never completes through Wallet Connect. It goes from "Connecting. It may take a few minutes" to "Failed to connect" I can only assume something changed with Trust Wallet because the interface for Wallet Connect has changed slightly.

[BUG]: If a stake has completed, change the EES button

If stake complete, change the early end stake button to be "end stake button" perhaps change the colour to a less "caution! Don't nuke 100% of your principal" Red, to a " good job, you're not fucking your self" Green?

Dealers choice.

Take care,

Future market supply

Guessing it's an upstream issue but figured I'd send the bug your way.

Looks like the future market supply isn't loading.
