Mabecos Server

If you are here because of Mabecos Server, your database should be the same as your username.

If you don't have a database, you can create one with the command createdb $username. You should execute this command inside the docker container. To connect to the docker container, please see Access topic.

How to start

To start a new db server:

• git clone https://github.com/Guergeiro/bd.git
• cd bd
• docker build --tag postgres:bd .
• docker run --name bd -p {hostPort}:5432 postgres:bd
• docker start db

Access

Access via server

To access your db use docker exec -it {servername} bash.

Now that you're inside docker, use psql {database} to access the database. Play with postgres as you want.

Access via database manager

Accessing your database via a manager should be straight forward. Just use the {url}:{port} of the database, put your database name and your username and password. If you are trying to access Mabecos Server database, ask @Breno Salles for the database credentials.
